Can you tell us about your journey to Murex and your current role within the company?

With a background in accounting, I currently hold the role of Senior Financial Consultant, collaborating with clients across Latin America. I have really enjoyed my professional journey at Murex since I had the opportunity to constantly learn and grow both professionally and personally, and now I can confidently say that I truly enjoy my work!

What does a typical day look like for you at Murex?

There are no typical days, and that's what makes it fun. We are always learning about new products, processes, regulatory changes, helping our clients solve problems, meeting new clients, training ourselves, helping others grow within the organization, working together and with other teams, and amidst all this, there's also time to share in many fun activities after work. I love our office in Chile, we all form a great team!

What kind of learning opportunities does Murex provide to its employees?

Murex provides its employees with hands-on learning opportunities through our daily tasks. In my role, I have the chance to guide clients as they adapt their accounting processes within Murex's framework. This involves a deep dive into understanding the unique needs of our clients, especially in adapting to the specific regulations of LATAM clients. Through this process, I've learned how to foster improvements and enhance efficiency in our change management processes.

In what ways has the learning culture at Murex contributed to your personal and professional growth?

The learning culture at Murex has contributed to my personal and professional growth because everything depends on this learning journey, both successes and failures. There is a very strong culture of respect and collaboration that motivates you to be part of improvement and continuous learning. Overall, the leaders incentivize you through their example, which is very valuable and challenging for me.

What learning goals or aspirations do you have for your future at Murex?

One of my main learning objectives at Murex is languages. My native language is Spanish, and when I started at Murex, my level in other languages was very basic. Now I can manage a bit better with the language, but I want to keep advancing. Additionally, I want to learn Portuguese to communicate with our clients from Brazil, and here I also could learn French. So, I still have many challenges ahead in this aspect!
