Murex Leads Integrated Pricing and Risk Management Quadrant of Chartis Pricing and Valuation Systems Report

PARIS, August 1, 2024—Murex has earned the leading position in the Integrated Pricing and Risk Management quadrant of the Chartis Pricing and Valuation Systems 2024 report.

The report evaluates the pricing and valuation systems field. It considers the unique demands of financial assets, their market dynamics and interdependencies and the technological architecture underpinning pricing frameworks.

“For many years, Murex has been steadfastly investing in all asset classes to develop a comprehensive suite of models capable of pricing any financial instrument,” said Didier Loiseau, Murex global head of trading and financial engineering. “The distinguishing feature of our analytics offering is its extensive breadth and depth. Murex's cross-asset strategic investment in analytics over the years is yielding decisive results.”

“Murex’s category leader position in the integrated pricing and risk management quadrant reflects its cross-asset analytical coverage,” said Sid Dash, chief researcher at Chartis. “This it combines with a strong and well-developed P&L framework, which again operates across asset classes.”

Murex’s quadrant position highlights its successful integration of cross-asset pricing, risk and analytics investments into the MX.3 integrated platform.

“Murex’s enduring commitment to delivering best-of-breed analytics in every asset class is complemented by a systematic, end-to-end approach to model validation, with an internal model governance that reflects industry best practices, and strategic investments in API-based tooling for validation,” said Cecile Auger, Murex head of model risk management. “This allows Murex analytics to be deployed in demanding production contexts, from front-office pricing to enterprise risk management, while complying with model risk regulation.”
